The B2B payment company Ledyer is strengthening its management team by recruiting Johan Fredholm as the new Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). The recruitment marks an important step in the company's continued investment in scaling its commercial business and solidifying its position within B2B payments for both e-commerce and physical retail in the Nordic region.

Johan Fredholm has over a decade of experience in sales, e-commerce, and payments, with leading commercial roles at companies such as Worldline, Klarna, and Qliro. He has worked closely with merchants, partners, and financial institutions focused on growth, payment solutions, and commercialization of complex offerings within trade and fintech.

With a deep understanding of both digital and physical commerce, as well as how payments affect the purchasing experience, conversion, and cash flow, Johan has contributed to building and scaling commercial businesses in markets where the demands for simplicity, flexibility, and control are rapidly increasing.

In the role of CCO, Johan Fredholm will be responsible for Ledyer's commercial strategy, sales, and partnerships. The focus is on accelerating the company's growth and establishing Ledyer as the obvious choice for B2B payments within both the retail and wholesale segments, for both online and physical stores.

“B2B trade is experiencing a clear shift. Corporate customers today expect the same agility and flexibility as in B2C, while payment and credit processes have not kept pace. Ledyer addresses exactly that challenge, and I see great potential in scaling the company further together with the team”, says Johan Fredholm.

Ledyer offers a modern B2B payment platform that combines automated credit decisions, invoicing, and flexible payment options in one solution. The platform aims to simplify corporate purchases, reduce administrative work, and improve cash flow for merchants.

“Johan brings invaluable experience from some of the most influential companies in payments and e-commerce. His commercial leadership and understanding of both merchants and partners is an important reinforcement as we scale Ledyer and strengthen our position in B2B payments”, says Linus Sandberg, CEO and co-founder of Ledyer.

The recruitment of Johan Fredholm is part of Ledyer's long-term strategy to build a leading Nordic fintech company focused on the future of B2B payments.
